No More Strangers: Kristine Laney

Sisters, guess whose birthday it is today--Jan. 20th!

I just realized it was her birthday, and I wanted to do something special--and I remembered that I have an interview with her that I hadn't posted yet. I would love to do this for all of you (post an interview on your birthday), but I don't think I'm capable of that sort of consistency right now.  Anyway, let's get back to Kristine--

Q: What is your favorite quote?

A: "Trying to understand the behavior of some people is like trying to smell the color 9."


Q: Tell me about one of your mentors:

A: My mentor is any human that rises up after terrible and unspeakable things have gone on in their lives and fills that life with beautiful things and people carry on anyway.


Q: If you wrote your autobiography, what would it be called?

A: "Forever the Phoenix"


Q: I always joke that waking up is "the worst part of the day". What do you think is the best part of waking up?

A: The best part of waking up is that the Lord has given me another day to improve my life and show love to those around me.


Q: Tell me about an experience that made you stronger:

A: The last experience that made me a stronger person was a car accident 2 years ago.
